'Idol' Hot 100: "Light On" #23 (1/31/09)

Although it was David Cook's single that led all Idol-related tracks on Billboard's Hot 100 for the chart week of Jan. 31, it was the debut of Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" that really spiced the chart up.

Kelly's single is setting the stage for a record-breaking 96-spot jump to #1 on next week's chart following the singles debut at #97, which would best the current record held by Britney Spears' "Womanizer," which advanced #96-1 late last year.

Aside from Kelly, Cook's "Light On" went up 16 spots to #23 for the week, while David Archuleta's "Crush rose #47-39.
