Felicia Barton to open for David Cook on Saturday

How's this for unexpected news? Season 8 Top 36 hopeful Felicia Barton, who was a last minute replacement for Joanna Pacitti following the latter's disqualification, will be opening for David Cook at his Virginia Beach show on Sat., May 30. Felicia wrote the following on her personal Facebook page:

Malachi gets his stitches out today! What am I going to watch on TV tonight without Idol...by the way...anyone want to come see me open for DAVID COOK ON SATURDAY!!!

The show, which is being billed as "The Patriotic Festival," will take place at the Sth Street Beach Stage in Virginia Beach, Va., at 7 p.m. Other acts set to take the stage include Matt Nathanson and Zac Brown Band.
