Just two days before Jordin Sparks was set to premiere her new single "Battlefield" on Idol's results show, the track leaked on the internet. Take a listen below:
The song definitely has hit potential, as producer and writer Ryan Tedder is a pretty hot commodity at the moment. Although it does share a few traits with Beyonce's "Halo" at the chorus ("why does love always feel like a battlefield / a battlefield / a battlefield" vs. "I can see your halo / halo / halo / I can see your halo / halo /halo"), it can definitely stand on its own as a solid pop/rock track. What do you think of the single?

Oh gawd this is such horrible crap I can't even begin to say. Those pro-tools in high gear - it doesn't even sound like Jordin. Pfff! Sorry, I hate it.
