HITS etimates: Arch 180.5k, Jennifer 23.8k

David Archuleta's self-titled album debuted at #2 according to HITS Daily Double's building album sales chart made public today.

The album posted 180.5k copies in its first week according to estimates, which is substantially below the company's 225-240k prediction, and even below IDOL LIVE's prediction of 221k.

Jennifer Hudson's debut album was pushed down to the second-highest entry by an Idol alum, coming it at #26 with 23.8k copies.

Carrie Underwood rounded out the remaining Idol-related entries with Carnival Ride, which saw a considerable boost in sales thanks to last week's CMA Awards. Estimates put it at #33 with 21.4k copies.

Finalized figures from Billboard should be out by tomorrow evening.
