'Idol' Hot 100: "Crush" #21 (11/29/08)

David Archuleta's "Crush" ain't goin' away-ee-ay-ee-ay-ee-ayy, as it rises one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of Nov. 29 to #21 and once again leads all Idol-related tracks. Arch also sees an entry on the Bubbling Under chart, with "A Little Too Not Over You" coming in at #14.

Back to the main chart, Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight" does the opposite of "Crush," as it slips a spot to #27. Thanks to her big night at last week's CMA Awards, Carrie Underwood's "Just a Dream" increases #43-29, a 14-spot jump. This is the single's peak to-date.

On the other hand, Jordin Sparks' "One Step At a Time" continued to quietly drift toward the upper half of the chart, as it fell five spots to #46. Expect this to be its last week in the Top 50 barring a win at the upcoming American Music Awards.

Leaving the light on for Idol alums in the upper half of the chart, David Cook's "Light On" climbed #89-82. Look for a moderate jump in next week's chart thanks to renewed interest in the single due to the release of his album.
