'Idol' BB 200: 'Jennifer Hudson' #14 (11/15/08)

Jennifer Hudson once again wore the crown among Idol alums on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the chart week of Nov. 15. Jennifer's debut album rose 10% in sales in the face of a five-spot drop to #14. It sold 31.8k copies, placing its total at 386.7k copies.

Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride saw a scant 11% decrease to 11k copies for the week, putting its total take at 2.399 million. In terms of chart movement, the album slipped #37-49. Kellie Pickler's self-titled album followed at #78, down from #59 the following week. It sold 6.8k copies, down 17% for a total of 86.2k copies.

Daughtry was next with its debut album, falling 21 spots to #102 for the week thanks to a slim 16% sales decrease. It moved 5.2k for the week, putting it at a mighty 4.268 million copies. Jordin Sparks once again brought up the rear with her self-titled debut, which scanned 3.8k copies for the week, down 11% from the album's take the previous week. Its sales to date stand at 945.3k units, which mirrors its 19-spot drop on the chart to #146.
