Poll of the week: 'Idol' alums win 3x at AMAs

Idol fans were hopefully optimistic - and correct - when they predicted Carrie Underwood, Daughtry and Jordin Sparks would each take home at least one award at tonight's 2008 American Music Awards.

A majority of IDOL LIVE readers correctly predicted the outcome at the awards show for the three Idol alums, with 23 votes (46%) going to the idea that all three would be victorious at the Las Vegas show that was broadcast on ABC. Not shown during the broadcast were Jordin's win for "Favorite Artist - Adult Contemporary Music" and Carrie's win for "Favorite Country Music Album," while Daughtry won for "Favorite Band, Duo or Group - Pop/Rock" during the broadcast.

We will now resume with the regularly scheduled debut album champion series. Voting will be open until 10 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 3.
