In what seems more like Groundhog Day than Thanksgiving Day, David Archuleta's "Crush" was once again the top positioned Idol-related track on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of Dec. 6. The single fell two spots to #23 but still is in a healthy position.
Next up was Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight," which actually rose #27-25. Carrie Underwood followed with "Just a Dream," which fell seven spots following a steep sales decline after the bump the song received from the CMAs dried up.
The two remaining Idol-related singles were held by David Cook, with "Light On" looking to exit the Hot 100 next week after falling #82-91. "Declaration," however, appeared on the Bubbling Under chart at #13 and should disappear on next week's chart.
